When I ordered the OBDII through Amazon, I also ordered a 100-cm extension cord on the thought that I would locate the analyzer somewhat remotely if there was a clearance problem between my leg and the analyzer when I got in or out of the seat.
The analyzer arrived several days ahead of the cord, which came earlier this week from China, and looks to be very high quality and well made.
However, when I originally installed the analyzer in my car (Lexus IS300), I found the female plug was located far enough forward under the dash that there was ample clearance for my leg when I enter or exit.
I offer this as a cautionary note in case you recommend the analyzer to a friend. I strongly suggest you wait and determine if there is adequate clearance before you order an extension cord. You may find it unnecessary. Ralph L. Seifer, Long Beach, California.
