I just wanted to know exactly how the gauges are reading for my nissan. I select a/f and I'm pretty sure its reading.lamba but I wanted to be positive. next when selecting injectors is the gauge showing me pulse width? if so how can I calculate duty cycle from Therese numbers? excellent app. thank you
Yes, Fuel Injector is in (ms) Pulse width. Duty cycle calculation requires Rpm + Injector PW (ms). Injector Calculator Link. 2 Pids are needed for this calculation and the Nissan Pids refresh is not fast enough for an accurate reading. I might include it in the future, but recommend not using it with other Gauges present on the same screen.
What unit does it show with A/F? If I recall, there is Volts and %. Give me the Sensor full name and I can look into it.
its air fuel alpha bank 1 and 2 showing as a percentage.
It is a Rich/Lean correction indicator. If I recall, correcting for a rich mixture it will be in low value, lean mixture will be in a high value range. Refer to service manual for the interpretation on the values or maybe someone here can refresh my memory.
