Need help. No response from Google on this.
Bug is not with Car Gauge Pro. (Big Period) I'm sure the problem is with the Google Play Store.
I bought Car Gauge Pro in the Google Play Store in 2014. Have been a very happy customer since then. Has worked great on my Motorola phones, and for the past few years on my Google Pixel Pro 6 256GB. I wore out the USB port and had to warranty the phone. They sent me the same exact phone, Google Pixel 6 Pro 256GB. Car Gauge Pro did not restore from my Google drive backup. I went to my Google Play Library > Not installed. Is there, says is installed on my old Google Pixel 6 pro, but says it is not compatible to install on my (newer to me) Google Pixel 6 Pro.
Looking it up in the Google Play Store, it says it is compatible, and will work for all my devices, and I can purchase it, not recognizing that I already own it.
Google says to uninstall and reinstall the app. Impossible with the offered options. In one place it says I can "buy it", it will work, not recognizing that I already have bought it. Then in another place, it says I can't install it because it is not compatible, so there is no install prompt at all to install it.
I know it works on this model phone. It has worked on my older Google Pixel 6 Pro since early 2022. My older phone was the same model and worked up to a few weeks ago before it broke physically.
Please help with this challenge.
