Can someone tell the steps to perform a buzz test on a 2000 F250 7.3L powerstroke diesel? It does the KOEO ok, at least I think it does, but when I select KOER, I get an error that says 'invalid/no data'. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

KOEO means you have to leave Ignition On with Engine not running and KOER with Engine Running. If KOER test does not work, try the KOER Switch Test. The invalid/no data indicates it is not supported or condition is not right. Make sure you are performing the test as per Service Manual. Try Buzz test with switch on engine off. When any of the test is completed, there should be a list of faults if present or a message showing No Self Diagnostic Faults.

Well, hopefully related to the original question, is how do I get to a point where I have the option to choose 'buzz test'? And how do ya get to the different modes? Mode 1, 2, etc

Selecting OBD II Generic will get you all modes. Selecting (Enhanced) Ford-->Powertrain then OBD Menu-->Self Test will show you the list.

If you go to www.ford-truck.com there are several write up on how to bezz test a 7.3 using CGP. One user had a problem where he had to disconnect/re-connect his batteries after running buzz test on his 7.3. I just complete a very lengthy troubleshooting of my 99-7.3 and it took 14 steps to get to the test but it worked great.
