I've been using a competing Android product for years for more basic "check-engine" and emissions type issues, and have now purchased Car Gauge Pro for Android for my '99 Grand Am as I hear it can scan ABS codes. However, I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out how to do so. I can connect via my bluetooth ODBII adapter and get readings from the engine (RPM, speed, etc etc) just like I do with other ODBII Android apps, and it can scan for check-engine type codes successfully, but I do not see anything anywhere that has to do with ABS. My vehicles ABS light is on (has been sporadically for months) and just yesterday the brake light came on as well, so would like to get more detailed info on the cause of the warning and error along with which wheel is causing this if possible. If you could direct me on how to do this I would very much appreciate it.
