Hi Isaac! Thanks for the reply! One thing I can add to your response then is that I've watched the tech at the dealership connect his hardware Consult II equipment to the OBD2 port and pull codes from the 4WD system. I had a problem with the electric locking rear differential at one point (the indicator lamp on the dash would sometimes come on for no apparent reason and the tech was able to pull codes that showed it had happened. I'm assuming the codes came from the 4WD system, I'd say. Otherwise, do you have any knowledge of how a Nissan tech would normally gain access to the 4WD and BCM controllers, if not through the OBD2 port?

Hi, Please send me a debug log by enabling it under preference, connect to 4WD few times, exit app and send log to email. It might be simple adjustment I can make, but need to see the log.
Not sure how to access 4WD codes without scantool.

Thank you very much Isaac I will do that! Also, sorry about cluttering up the other forum with the repost. I just didn't realize what had happened! -John

Hey,
Just wondering if any headway has been made with this issue.
I am just about to pull the trigger on this app and I am having almost the exact same issue as posted by the OP
My vehicle is 2005 Frontier D40 with VQ40DE auto transmission.
I'd like to be able to scan the ECU,BCM,TCM and ABS if possible
