I currently have a elm 327 blue tooth obdII connector and I am having issues advancing my timing. The timing reads -1 degree after warming up and I am getting a input error unable to update. The timing won't change and I just keep getting an error message. How can I make this work?
Thank You
Stephen

Have you warmed up the vehicle to normal operating temperature before making adjustments?

2002 Nissan Maxima.
I actually just bought a obdmx thinking it was the bluetooth connector causing the problem. I am still getting a error. It does the same for idle adjustment as well with the obdmx now too. This is after I warm the car up after driving to work

Can you please send me a debug log, enable it under preference, duplicate the error problem, exit app and send log to email

That would be great if I could find the log. It isn't saving to my micro sd just to internal memory. Any idea how I find the log file?
Also now I am getting javascript errors with the new obdmx. Went to Internal storage\Car Gauge Pro and don't see a log file or folder for it.

Download ES File Explorer and search for the folder "Car Gauge Pro/Debug Log".
Latest version is out and should fix the error.

Ok. So I keep getting "Invalid data or not supported".
However when I let my car warm up I was able to adjust the timing but I didn't hit save, doh! So I drove to work and it reverted back to -1 timing with the message "Invalid data or not supported".
My question is what are the requirements to changes idle and timing. I know it says over 150f. My car when I parked it after driving was at 212f. Do I have to do it on initial startup before goes higher then 150f. Maybe the driving around is messing it up?
Also I downloaded ES File Explorer and still don't see the Debug Log when I got to Local > Car Gauge Pro

Perhaps, a service manual or Alldata will answer your question. Try checking /sdcard/Car Gauge Pro/Debug Log or /mnt/sdcard/Car Gauge Pro/Debug Log?

Figured it out. Found out on maxima.org that it takes a few tries. So I tried that still nothing. What I ended up doing is I went to "self learning" and then back to the idle/ignition timing and sure enough it worked.
