Hi, I'm a new user of CG Pro, looking to diagnose problems with my Nissam X-Trail. I got the software connecting and accessing the ECU data, etc fine. I may just be being a bit thick, but how can I log this live information so I can potentially replay it to a mechanic? I know there's a diagnostic "Enable Debug Log" option at the bottom of the Preferences but I thought that was for developer debugging, not user car diagnostic work. Any help, greatly appreciated. Tks. I am looking into purchasing this software, however I am confused as to what hardware I will need for my Samsung Galaxy S3 smart phone. Does anyone recommend a particular connector for this device? Thank you, Mel

Hi,
You will need a Bluetooth ELM327. I have tried Vendors Vgate, CHX and OBDLink MX(STN) with success. You can buy the ELM clones from Ebay or Amazon.

Thank you, I will search for that tonight. I have a Ford F150 XLT 2005 and on occasion I get the engine lite comes on and then it goes off after a few days. I had it tested at our local Advanced Auto Parts stores and they said my CATS need replaced. I saw this application on Google Play and it interested me greatly. So thanks again.

Use the KOEO and KOER feature offered by Car Gauge Pro. It will run a test on the system component and display any faults. Plus, there is many info/pids at OBD II Generic + Enhanced to help you pinpoint the problem. Ford is among my top Enhanced package.
