Hi Charliext, i have primera 2.2 dCI and i have the around 28 MPa pressure in common rail on idle. Acording with service manual this is correct on dci (between 20 and 30). For YD 93kw model (i think is close to your engine) the 34MPa at idle seems to be in the standard range (between 30 and 40). See photo. This has from a Primera service manual that share the engines with Xtrail (with minor diferencies). If you want to compare some PIDs values on different modules you can contact me on imirceabucharest at yahoo dot com. I think the most modules is the same with minor diferencies due to year and functions. IMircea Attachments:

Hi IM, glad you found the thread, got your PM thanks. Issac working his magic on this, as you can see from previous posts. Thanks for the offer re PIDs, have got values that they should be from ESM as mentioned see .xms file attached to earlier post. It was your post that made me look at this As you may be aware there is little that does read pre DCi (2004 ISO) engines in the way of software, reading your thread and Issacs swift and excellent response gave me hope that all those of with the a similar engine may get results

Hi Issac - I spent a bit of time going through the ESM in the trouble shooting section and cross referencing with CGP. As you can see there is now little in the way of gaps with regard to what data can be retrived from what I can tell. Note some raw data was retrived but did not sure if this can be converted or used, see files. It does show however that the information is available on the ECU. I have not yet checked to see if I can read if a fault comes up, I am going to give that a go tommorow. As you know I have not been able to retrieve any vehicle information such as VIN. Please find attached .xls for your use. Hope it helps. Thanks again. PS Imircea - This excel file will show you what I have got so far with the latest update from Issac Attachments:

Hello Charlie,
Your vehicle does not support the Vehicle Info Service as per your log. It reported no data.
Sometime after New Years, we can somehow figure the formula for those raw data, but I need you to send me a debug log with sample @ Idle, @ 2000 Rpm and @ 3000 Rpm for each of the raw data. Hold rpm steady for at least 5 seconds for a good sample rate. Maybe, I can figure something out.
Does the OBD II Generic work on your vehicle? You might get some vehicle info from there.
Have a great New Year.
-Issac

Hi Issac Thank you for your diligence. I figured that was the case, thats why did the comparision just to confirm your debug logs. Apart from the Intake Switch reading and the two raw data entries I think that is is as much as is possible. I am amazed that your little prog/app has managed so much. I am doing some paperwork this morning to get it out of the way before tommos, if I finish early enough I will do some more testing, and logs Hope you have a good and safe New Year too. Thanks again Reagrds Charlie

The Debug log is incomplete. This is the first time I encounter this problem with the debug log. I will need to correct this issue.
Always exit the app so it will generate the debug log. The first log did not show any sensors selected. The second log was missing all of the data, strange.

Hi Issac - Not sure what the problem was, was a bit rushed, I will send you more starting with this one. This was just testing, I had unpluged the MAF and the system reported correct fault code Although a simple test it shows the CGP was able to read and reset (clear) fault. Thanks Charlie Attachments:
