I start with me:
Car: Nissan Primera, 2.2 diesel (YD22 engine), 2003, marked EOBD BT Adapter: VGATE clone Phone: Galaxy S2, Android 2.3.3 and 4.0.4 Working on modules ECU, ABS, BCM. I not have automatic transmission to check. The Airbag module is wired on pins 12 and 13 wich is not compatible with ELM 327 standards, so will not be accesible.
A good feedback is helpful.
PS: Issac, if you agree this ideea you can open a separate topic for Ford, GM, Toyota, etc...
Hello! Nissan Skyline 2003 + ELM327. Read ECM gasoline, ABS, no read SRS. Read ECU information ECM and ABS. What "Run Mode 9"? No read VIN information. Save preferents???
Mode 9 is not supported by all of the vehicles. If the Vin number appears in the Vehicle Information, then saving Diag Report will auto fill the Vin, Year and Make. However, it is not compatible for some of the vehicles. May set the wrong Make, always confirm the selection.
This applies to OBD II Generic only. None of the Enhanced Selection report Vin at this time.
California Air Resources Board (CARB) is adding a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) requirement to OBD II systems as of the 2005 model year. This action will be universal in the USA since all manufacturers currently certify to CARB requirements."
