So is there still valid support for this app? I've sent 2 emails and have received no response. No matter what I do in the app, I can't get around the "Requires OBDLink Mx" error. This is very frustrating for a paid app.

I am getting the same message. I just sent an e-mail to the developer today about the same issue. If I do not receive a response soon I am going to check with some LE friends of mine in Modesto to see if their is a physical address for an office. If the developer would just list specific dongle's to use with this it would clear up so many of the issues that people have with the App.

My experience this happens when trying to access Car Gauge Pro modules that are not applicable to your vehicle. The modules in Car Gauge Pro are unfiltered. A lot of stuff there simply does not work with your vehicle. I bought the OBDLink MX and still couldn't connect to many that gave the message. Wit hCar Gauge pro they lay out all the possibilities and its up to you to figure out what PIDs work and what doesn't. If you have to have PIDs filtered, get Dash Command and then pay $10 for enhanced PIDs for each vehicle. Then what you do see should work, but probably will miss a lot of things that are offered in Car Gage Pro.
