I just went through a very lengthy process of getting my 7.3 Diesel running after working on injector o-rings and glow plugs. If it were not for Car Gauge Pro I would still be out there under the hood scratching my butt trying to figure what I had screwed up (see my thread at www.ford-truck.com username glennswett). Using your injector buzz test I located my problem to defective Valve cover gaskets (new).
Before I complain and make suggestion my qualifications come from 40+ years in the computer industry (started maintaining/testing systems in early 60's with Sperry Univac)
1. To run the buzz test it took 14 steps to get to the test, thanks to the folks at www.ford-truck.com these step had been defined. I would think three step should get you to any where in CGP?
2. One of the users at http://www.ford-truck.com had a problem with CGP in that after running Buzz Test on his 2001 Ford 7.3 it left his PCM in a confused state, he had to disconnect his batteries to clear the PCM. I noticed when I first ran the Buzz test it did not catch all the opens to my injectors (verified with a VOM - could be a PCM problem) and when I ran the test for a second time (after repairs were made and batteries were disconnected/connected) the original DCT codes detected on the first run came up. I had to go to Clear DTC (yet another step) before running the test. If these error code were coming from the PCM the user should be notified. When these codes popped up the second time I thought I had not fixed the problem. The point here is, you have the start of a great diagnostic tool, but it need to be more user friendly to the troubleshooter.
3. Your icon on your home page made absolutely no sense to me the first time I initialized CGP. I know you do not have it (yet?) but because of the difficulty of navigation you really need a user guide.
4. My last suggestion is that you have a unique product, buzz testing ...etc, and you should concentrate your efforts on the diagnostic side rather than the foo-foo gauges (I can get this from several other application). There are a lot of out here in auto land who want to work on our vehicles but need help to get around the computer that controls our ride, CGP has the potential to give us that support.
Conclusion: From discussions I have had with other users if something like Torque or others can do the type of test you do (ie; Buzz) they are going to eat your lunch. Please take this as constructive criticism because I am highly recommending your product to everyone with the above caveats.
